Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023 – Oxford is proud to be able to offer a very high number of fully-funded scholarships each year; with over 1,000 available for courses starting in 2023-22. Clarendon is one of the biggest of the University’s scholarship schemes, offering around 130 new scholarships each year.
Clarendon Scholarships are competitive, prestigious and highly sought-after. Like all fully-funded Oxford scholarships; Clarendon covers course fees and offers a generous grant for living costs; however, Clarendon’s additional appeal lies in its unique community of scholars.

When you apply for graduate study at the University of Oxford, your application will be considered by academics working in your proposed field of study. They will decide whether or not to offer you a place to study at the University and, if you applied by the relevant January deadline, they will also decide whether or not you will be put forward for a Clarendon scholarship.
Eligibility For Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023
Clarendon Scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic merit and potential to graduate students from all around the world. Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas and are open to candidates who apply for a new master or DPhil course by the January admissions deadline.
Application Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023
By applying for graduate study you will automatically be considered for a Clarendon Scholarship. You do not need to submit any additional documents specifically for the Clarendon Scholarships and there is no separate scholarship application form. You must apply by your course’s January deadline in order to be considered. Information about deadlines is available on the Course pages.

Nationality
All applicants for graduate study at the University of Oxford are eligible.
Clarendon scholars come from across the world: from the USA to Australia, Venezuela to Vietnam and from Norway to Nigeria!
Level of study Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023
All degree-bearing courses at the graduate level are eligible. This encompasses all full-time and part-time masters and all DPhil courses. A list of all the graduate courses offered by the University of Oxford can be found on the Courses page.
Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
Subject For Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023
Clarendon supports scholars from across the University, with no preference for any particular subject area.
Other criteria
Candidates applying to start a new master’s or DPhil course at Oxford are eligible. This includes students who are currently studying for a master’s degree at Oxford but who will be re-applying for a DPhil (you would be eligible for funding for the DPhil).
Applicants who hold deferred offers to start in 2023-22 are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship.
Current students who will continue to study for the same degree at Oxford in the next year are not eligible for this scholarship.
Application Deadline For Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023
The application deadline for Oxford Clarendon Scholarship 2023 is on January 11 – 25 2023 (annual) Study in the UK
Course starts October 2023.
